About the founder
Iara Garafulic
an interior designer raised in San Pedro de Atacama, one of the most magical places on Earth.
Here, surrounded by desert, stars, volcanoes, wind, and silence, I learned to feel life deeply — to listen to nature, to notice beauty in the details, and to connect with spaces as if they had a soul.
From a young age, I was immersed in art, music, spirituality, and nature, all of which shaped how I experience the world. For me, interiors are not just physical — they are emotional, energetic, and deeply personal. They are spaces that reflect who we are and who we want to become.
To deepen my path, I studied Interior Design at the Florence Design Academy in Italy, and later completed a Master’s in Interior Architecture, Decoration, and Interiorismo in Madrid, bringing together structure, creativity, and soul.
Today, I create bespoke interior projects for both private and commercial clients around the world — always with intention.
From soulful homes to boutiques, hotels and restaurants, I work to bring each space’s true essence to life — designing atmospheres that feel warm, natural, and subtly magical.
Every detail matters — from the materials to the light, the scent, the textures, and the story each space holds.

IARA Interiors is an interior design studio dedicated to conscious, meaningful design — using natural materials, honoring local traditions, and enhancing the soul of every space we touch.
Our work goes beyond aesthetics. We dive into the story behind each project — the landscape, the culture, the history, and the people — to create environments that truly belong to their surroundings and to the people who inhabit them.
We believe every space has its own identity, whether it’s a boutique hotel, a soulful restaurant, a concept store, or a private residence. Our mission is to reveal and amplify that identity through design that feels authentic, special, and unforgettable.
We collaborate closely with local artists and craftspeople to give each project a distinct local soul — and also work with talented furniture designers and makers from around the world, curating unique pieces that enrich the atmosphere.
From desert retreats in Chile to coastal restaurants in Europe, our goal is to create spaces that are alive, warm, and timeless — spaces that tell stories, spark emotions, and leave lasting memories.
